²⁷ Because the people of the land who were there before you practiced all these abominations, the land became unclean. ²⁸ So do not let the land vomit you out for making it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was there before you. ²⁹ If anyone does any of these abominations, the lives of those who practice them will be cut off from the midst of their people.
